On the 11th December 2014 a Construction Group of Unions delegation met with Peadar Toibin TD – Sinn Fein Spokesperson on Enterprise, Jobs, Innovation.

The Trade Unions briefed Mr Toibin on concerns in relation to Bogus Self Employment, Urgency for replacement legislation arising from the Supreme Court decision of May 2013, The lack of Apprenticeships in Construction, Equality for all Construction workers wheter employed directly,by sub-comtractors or by agencies, Access for trade Unions to Construction sites to organise and represent members.
