Richard O’ Carroll Commemoration 2016
|Richard O’Carroll 1876-1916
Richard O’Carroll was born in Dublin in 1876.
In 1906, Richard was elected as the new General Secretary of The Ancient Guild of Incorporated Brick and Stonelayers’ Trade Union now BATU.
Richard was shot by the deranged British Officer, Bowen Colthurst. He died ten days later in Portobello Military Barracks.
