BATU Bricklayers secure Direct Employment

BATU Bricklayers employed on two Manley Construction Ltd projects in Dublin have secured direct PAYE employment with the company.
The members were previously employed by a sub-contractor and surprise, surprise they were not receiving a guaranteed week, wet time, travel time, pension, sick pay etc.
Following the members taking a stand with the support of BATU direct employment was achieved and the sub-contractor has left both sites.
We urge all members and former members to be inspired by the Manley Construction Ltd members and support BATU in its efforts to secure PAYE employment for all Bricklayers .
