BATU attended the Brick and Stonelaying Craft Apprenticeship Validation on the 16th June 2017 at the SOLAS Head Office in Dublin 1.

The Validation for the Craft is based on SOLAS’s newly produced Version 4 Curriculum,which has been the result of a two year industry stakeholder consultation process.

The process would determine the Quality and Qualification (QQI) level.

BATU were very anxious that the Brick and Stonelaying Apprenticeship would retain its current level 6 position on the National Framework of Qualifications.

BATU are delighted to announce that the Brick and Stonelaying Apprentices will retain Level 6.
