BATU member wins 2018 Safety Rep of the Year

 

The “2018 Safety Representative of the Year” award has gone to BATU member Karl Deegan.

 

Karl is a bricklayer employed by John Sisk & Sons Ltd and the award was presented to him at the 2018 Health & Safety Summit held at Croke Park, Dublin, on Wednesday 28thNovember 2018.

 

Karl was selected by a panel of judges representing the Health & Safety Authority(HSA), Construction Industry Federation (CIF) and the Irish Congress of Trade Unions (ICTU).

 

We are proud to have members of the caliber of Karl and we strongly urge all members to actively promote best practice with Health, Safety and Welfare on all sites.
